"Living God's Word Every Day" Online Study

Do just one Study or all five as the Holy Spirit leads, because ALL 25+ chapters are about Jesus talking with you, walking with you, ....being with you as your Savior, Lord and Friend. And to focus on the REALITY of HIS PRESENCE in your life, select links below to download and print Journals for Studies 1-5.

JOURNAL 1 for Study 1:
Let's Talk about Worldviews
LEARNING GOALS: Chapters 1-6 ....On our Quest to know God more, we understand our worldview influences the choices we make in life. We can describe "life's biggest questions" that we are/should be asking ourselves, and explain our responsibility to know “What?” we believe and “Why?”.

JOURNAL 2 for Study 2:
Experiencing Who God IS
LEARNING GOALS: Chapters 7-9 ....On our Quest to know God more, we recognize what makes God smile. We explain why Jesus is THE answer to life’s biggest questions. ….And we paraphrase why Jesus is the Way, the Truth, the Life, ….and evaluate why He is worthy of praise and worship.

JOURNAL 3 for Study 3:
Learning from God-Moments
LEARNING GOALS: Chapters 10-15 ....On our Quest to know God more, we describe how God wants to be involved in our lives ….and explain the range of intimate, unique, ....common and uncommon God-Moments we can expect or have had ….living daily with Him.

JOURNAL 4 for Study 4:
"3Rs + Prayer" Bible Study Approach

LEARNING GOALS: Chapters 16-21 ....On our Quest to know God more, we analyze Jesus' words, “Remember what I told you.” We determine why we must “put on every piece of God’s armor” to resist the enemy in spiritual warfare. We analyze a Bible study approach called “3Rs + PRAYER”, ....so we can use it in our lives.

JOURNAL 5 for Study 5:
What's your assignment from Jesus?
LEARNING GOALS: Chapter 22 ....On our Quest to know God more, we understand God has assignments for us — to match our abilities, use spiritual gifts, and stretch us with new challenges. ....And summarize what we learned in this study by composing our personal testimony titled ...."Jesus In My life".

NOTES: Study Group Leaders / Parents / Disciples
This is a "chapter topics" overview conversation with anyone who wants to SHARE JESUS WITH OTHERS, ....be it in a group study, classroom, or online discussion with friends. Or a parent having an in-depth talk with their children about knowing "what?" you believe and "why?", ....so you can OWN IT and LIVE BY IT.

NOTES: Preaching / Teaching this discipleship study

Thoughts about using Online Learning to teach and preach God's Word ....using this KnowYourWorldview.org website. Because your answer to the question of an Acts 1:8 assignment ....is helping other Disciples find their own answers to the same Acts 1:8 question for themselves.

.
.
Because being Jesus' Disciple
....is an intentional, purposeful, life-long Quest....
Let's talk....

Because....

Beginning roots of this KnowYourWorldview.org website and study journals ….started back in 1968, when I was a 24-year-old graduate student at the University of Missouri. God knew this boy needed some serious help knowing what he believed and why. ....You might say I was somewhere about here >>> Hebrews 5:11-14
I recall having conversations with other grad-students about everyday topics, ….that turned antagonistic whenever I mentioned Jesus. Found out I really didn’t know how to express what I believed. ....As my insecurities grew, I started wondering what I believed.
Then my “God-Moment” in Chapter 13 – Roger 1968 that changed my life….and started my life-long Quest to know God more. From those roots, grew the passion to write this website and discipleship study for you.
Whether young or older, if you have not yet experienced hostile conversations about believing in Jesus, you may someday. I want to help you be prepared for them, ….because I’ve been there, experienced it. .......Those 1968 conversations might have been different, if I had been better prepared to tell "my story" about doing life with Jesus.
....SMILE....let's do this Discipleship study together.

Study at your pace, your schedule
There's a lot to think about in this website and study Journals. You know your schedule, so ask God to help you plan consistent study times to focus on knowing Him more ....and not be rushed. Self-discipline study is required to grow in knowing what you believe and why.

Ask God for help studying, ....He's already ALL-IN for you.

Popup links help read ALL scriptures
In this interactive Book, over 300 scriptures express Biblical truth.
A few verses are repeated, as we look at God's Word from different context perspectives. Let the Bible speak for itself, declaring THE POWER OF GOD to change our lives, ....as in 2 Peter 1:2-3.

Menu designed for random reading

Read this Book from first chapter to last, following our "TO EXPERIENCE KNOWING GOD" path as it builds. Or, read "randomly" as the Holy Spirit brings Menu topics to your attention, ....as you are led by the Holy Spirit.

Journals help process why you believe
Journal questions help you think and write about what you believe and why. Writing is the “processing” step. Then ask a friend or study group to “challenge you” as a safe-space to speak from your heart about your faith in Jesus. This “practicing” step helps learn how to say "why you believe what you believe". Helps tell your story.

Blended Learning is more engaging
Learners are more involved in Blended Learning that combines online instruction with best-choice media and live interaction sessions with a mentor/leader and other learners in small groups discussing what they studied. Online media may include videos, info-graphics, photos, and print study journals to build an engaging course of study.

Here are two website Bible study tools you may want to set up as “favorites” in your computer’s browsers. Make them easy to access for working on Journal questions.

The first tool is website BibleGateway.com, where you can compare many different Bible translations, and search those translations for “keywords” and “topics” that you want to find in Scriptures.

For more in-depth study, checkout BlueLeterBible.org website, where you’ll find original Hebrew and Greek word definitions, comparison of Bible translations for selected scriptures, Cross-References, Commentaries and Dictionaries.
Both are really great tools for studying God's Word.
